Doolin

It is possible to get to the Aran Islands from Doolin.  Doolin is closest to Inis Oirr, the smallest of the three Aran Islands. Doolin also has boats that sail to Inis Meain and Inis Mor. You will spend a lot more time on the water and this is a consider for people as it will take 1.5 hours to Inis Mor on a small ferry. There are regular sailings from Doolin particularly over summer. It is advisor to use a car to get to Doolin as the public bus is infrequent.

Inis Mor Island is conveniently located in the center of The Wild Atlantic Way. It is accessible from both Doolin (The Cliffs of Moher) and Rossaveal (Galway / Connemara).
