Glamping in Ireland – Aran Islands Beachside Self Catering Glamping Units

Ireland’s newest Glamping experience on The Wild Atlantic Way

Aran Islands Camping & Glamping, located in the West of Ireland, has developed a purpose built Glamping unit called Clochán na Carraige. These custom built Glamping units take their inspiration from the ancient beehive stone huts which once dotted the island. Far from the spartan huts used by monks in the past, the “Clochans” are tastefully designed and were completed in late 2016.

Each Clochan has a shower room with w/c and wash hand basin, a microwave oven, fridge and kettle, and a dining table and chairs. Each unit can house up to four people comfortably with one bed sofa with one pull-out bed, and one double bed.

Included in each Self Catering Clochan is: plates, cutlery, cups, mugs, toaster, bed linen, towels, heating.

All of the units have a sea view from their individual deck areas. The Clochans are conveniently close to communal cooking and barbecue areas.
