Rossaveal

Rossaveal  is a  village in the Connemara area of County Galway, Ireland and it the main ferry port for the Aran Islands in Galway Bay. It is about 38 kilometres (23 mi) from Galway city and there are regular bus services from Galway with the Ferry companies at very reasonable rate. The bus ride takes 50 minutes from Galway and is a pleasant and scenic journey. For those who rent a car there is ample parking at a designated carpark. Rossaveal is accessible from any point in Connemara and venturing down from Westport and the Wild Atlantic way is scenic journey in itself. There is also a restaurant and Accommodation in Rossaveal itself which in itself is a pleasant village.

Inis Mor Island is conveniently located in the center of The Wild Atlantic Way. It is accessible from both Doolin (The Cliffs of Moher) and Rossaveal (Galway / Connemara).
